So if you were to go look at our lot right now this is what you will see.


If you are looking at this picture and wonder what it is you are looking at, let me help you. This is a vacant lot. No we have not started yet. We were so ready to dig last Friday, but our financing was not ready yet. It has sitting in underwriting for a week waiting for some form from the IRS. How annoying. Actually I did lie about that picture there is one thing missing that you would see if you went and looked at the lot and that is the backhoe that has been parked there for the last week. Our banker told us we should be able to start this week, but we are now looking at Friday afternoon and haven't heard form him. so now we are looking at maybe possibly starting things Tueasday, but I'm not going to hold my breath.

Originally we were looking on at a Oct 18th finish date, but that was with the intent to start digging the first week of May. So now we are planning on a 2nd week in November finish date. I am sure this will change as well. I haven't really got too bothered buy the delays, because I am just happy to know that someday I will be getting my dream home.

frustrated

My back hurts my butt hurts and I don't know if anything was accomplished the last hour and a half I just spent sitting in the bathroom with Jordyn. She just spent the last hour and a half sitting on the potty while I got her to drink a whole 20 oz of Gatorade and she did not pee on the toilet once. But of course right after she gets off the toilet and starts to walk out of the bathroom what do you think she does. She pees all over the floor in the doorway of the bathroom. Really!? Really? Why. What is it going t o take with this girl. She wants to wear big girls undies. She asks for them, so I have let her wear them a few times one day she only went thru three pairs in a 6 hour period, but then she pooped in the third pair and I was done cleaning up messes so I thru away the undies and put her in her diaper. The sad part was she didn't even care that she had pooped. She hadn't said anything, I found the poop when I told Rusty to have her go try to go and he sent her to me. Yesterday I let her try the undies again in the afternoon because she said she didn't want to wear a diaper and wanted undies. Well let me just tell you I was really tired of cleaning up pee. Every 20 minutes I was cleaning up another puddle made by my daughter. I am so frustrated! I wouldn't even be trying except she is the one asking to wear undies. It's just like she doesn't get it. She is a smart girl, too smart for her own good sometimes, I just don't understand why she doesn't get it. She was really successful for about three days when it came to pooping on the potty about a month ago and then she decided it wasn't for her or something because she just stopped telling me she had to go. She is my challenge right now.

Also right now her favorite thing to do it get naked. Lately she is stripping down to nothing at least 1 to 2 times daily. The other day she was just out side playing in the sandbox completely naked. Wasn't her smartest move, sand everywhere. And then a day or two later she was out on the trampoline, again, naked.
On Sunday I went to get her from nursery and her teacher handed me her diaper. Jordyn had taken it off herself and was just playing and having a grand old time running around commando. Seriously, she is out of control.
She cracks me up, but drives me nuts at the same time. But then she will look at me with her big blue puppy dog eyes and smile and my heart just melts. She looks so sweet, but two seconds later she is jumping on the dog trying to ride him like a horse.

And that is Jordyn at 2 1/2. And no that is not a hat she is wearing on her head it is the dog dish. She thinks it is her job to dump that ans his water bucket out every chance she gets.
