House 9-5-2010

We came home from our trip out of town and the insulation had been started and the drywall had been delivered. I'm excited for the drywall to go up. the house looks so much different once that goes in.

One of the walls all insulated.

Koosharem

Every Labor day weekend we go out to my brother-in-laws family ranch. We always have such a good time. And this year was any different. We were missing a few family members, but all that came had fun. Alexis couldn't wait to go. Once I told her about she would ask me at least three times a day if we were leaving for Koosharem yet.

The big boys playing some lasso golf. They also set up the horseshoe pit like always and played a few games of that.

Taylor crawling around the porch and getting slivers in her hands.

The girls playing hop scotch.

Watching a movie with Aunt Kara and Uncle Jake.

Wrestling with Uncle Rhett.

Burrito babies ready for bed.

Jordyn posing for her "Got Milk" ad. With her war wound face from the ranch. She wasn't paying attention to were she was walking and ran into the had rail of the front porch.

Carter turns 9 and recieves his wolf

We had a birthday party and I made a transformer cake for the family get together.

And he really wanted to have a laser tag birthday party so that was his gift from Rusty me and Sue (Rusty's mom) he had a really good time and so did the other boys.
It is weird ti think i have a 9 year old. Were does the time go?

It took a little cramming the last week and a lot of calling back and forth to Angie to figure out what he had to do to finish because she had his book, but Carter finished everything needed and recieved his wolf and three arrows. It was great.

Alexis is growing up

This last two weeks Alexis has learned to ride her bike without training wheels.

Alexis and I started practicing a week prior to these pictures, but I couldn't teach her and take pictures. So on this day we were going for a walk to the house and she wanted to show her daddy what she could do. She was a natural. It was so much easier to teach her than it was to teach carter. I was worried to start after how hard it was with him. But she did very well. She still needs help to start because her feet don't quite reach the ground while she stands on her bike.

This is a look at the back of the house.

Here is the front.

They started on the east side they had that whole side done before dark that same day. And then they worked through the entire weekend. They weren't wasting any time.
