House 8-19-2010

And the rain comes again. We had quite the monsoon that once again flooded my house. This time was worse than the last. Nowhere was dry the entire place was soaked and sitting in 1-2 inches of water. Not loving the rain right now.

House 8-17-2010

When we came to see the house today we were unpleasantly surprised to see that someone had graffiti-ed our house. Needless to say I was pretty upset. People can be such jerks sometimes.
Silver spray paint on the outside of the house and the window.

And spray paint on my brand new tub. We later noticed they also sprayed random wires around the house the plumbing in the master shower and the drain. It is so frustrating.

House 8-16-2010

Today they framed the arches and the fireplace showed up and they framed thet in as well.

House 8-14-2010

The wiring has officially begun.

This is were our fireplace is going to be.

Jake, Paul, Chad,My Dad and a friend of Rusty's from work came over to help Rusty wire the house. We really appreciate all the help we got from our family. We thought we were going to save money by having Rusty wire the house, but he keeps coming up with something new everyday to put in the house. You could land a small plane by the light of our house with everything he wants to put in.

House 8-13-2010

We have tubs. This is exciting we are starting to get stuff inside now.

House 8-11-2010

The windows have arrived and the entire roof and exterior has been covered with plywood.

Dinosaur Museum

The day after the wedding we went to the Dino museum at Thanksgiving Point with the newly weds and Jake's family.
Taylor and I were dusting for dino bones

The kids had a really good time and I thought it was pretty cool too. I have wanted to go visit this place, but had never had a chance.

Kara and Jake's wedding

Walking down the isle.

The "I Do"

Dance Party
We were doing a little YMCA

House 8-3-2010

We got more rain, but we did get a rainbow. The girls wanted to go slide on the rainbow and Alexis wanted to go try to find the treasure. It was so cute.
At least they started to put some sheathing on the roof, but like that will keep the rain out.

Th front is almost all covered by plywood.

House 8-2-2010

We got stair so we can finally just walk up there instead of scaling the walls.

But we also got water, lots of it.

It makes me really worried ever time it rains. I really hope these puddles of water aren't going to ruin my house.

House 7-30-2010

The framing continues.
They put some more trusses up. This is a view of the front of the house. The far right window is the living room then the front door to the right and the window on the other side is a bedroom.

This is the view of the inside of the house from the top of the soon to be stairs. They haven't put them in yet so Rusty had to hoist me up so I could see the the newly framed upstairs. the view is of the soon to be kitchen.

This is the upstairs. There are going to be two bedrooms a playroom and a bathroom up here.

Taylor turns 1

She is 1 year old. I can't believe it.

She had a lot of helper when it can to blowing out her candle. She wasn't quite sure what she was suppose to be doing.

We had a little pool and sprinkler party for her birthday. The things you can do with a summer birthday.

She probably is the cleanest of all my kids after eating her birthday cake on her first birthday.

She had fun opening her presents, but of course would get mad when we took them away for her to open the next one. She was so excited once she got to play with them. Alexis and Jordyn were also so excited. There was a particular tea set that those two loved that disappeared and later i found it with the older girls in another room playing tea party.
Thank you to all who came. We have a pretty great family and love you all.

Taylor is so fun to have in our family. She is such a sweetie and very loving. She has recently started gibbering a lot and it is so fun to hear her. she loves things that resemble phones, she will put them up to her ear and have little baby conversations. But she has recent began to bite, ( I am not a fan of that) and she is a screamer, we need to do something about that. She is getting ever so close to walking. She can cruise around the furniture very comfortably and the last few days has tried to balance standing all by herself.
I love you Tator tot!
