The house selling continues

We had a walk thru today and another one tomorrow. I have been doing a lot of house cleaning. Tomorrows showing will be the fourth on this week. That seems like a lot to me, but when I write it down it doesn't sound like that much. The other day Rusty was really missing his helmets and said he wants to put them back up. I decided if he does that I want to put our family and kids pictures back up on the wall too. I miss seeing my kids happy faces on the wall.
By the way if anyone was wondering we had some people come look at the townhouse Tuesday and they want to rent the place. I am so glad to have that out of the way. One less thing to worry about. They seem to be pretty responsible, I really hope that is the case.
Rusty is out in the garage trying to fix the big over head door. The opener broke that other day. I feel bad going to bed while he is out there working so I thought now would be a good time to do a little blogging.
Taylor is getting so big. You wouldn't even recognize her now compared to the last pictures of her on my blog. She has lost all her pretty dark curl and is now almost bald and it is coming in blonde. She is sure a cutie no matter what her hair looks like. She loves to rollover and like playing on her stomach. I remember when Alexis was a baby I use to have to bribe her with treats to play on her tummy. We are currently working on help her sit up on her own. She has her 6 month pictures coming up and it would be nice if she could sit all by her self for them. I have run into a bit of a dilemma when it come to pictures. I have taken the other two girls to Kiddie Kandids for their six month pictures and ordered the same layout and framed it to be hung on their wall in their room. Well if you hadn't heard Kiddie Kandid went out of business, so now I don't know waht I am going to do. I have tried to make sure if I do something for one of the girls I do it for all of them, but when business close or don't keep doing the same things it makes it difficult. I had this problem with Taylors hospital pictures. I had to order her a different framed announcement to hang in the girls room because they didn't make the one the other girls got.
Anyway I will stop rambling and I guess I will go see if there is something I can do to help Rusty out. It is a good thing he can figure out how to fix pretty much anything, because my dad was the same way so I expect my husband to be just like my dad. I love my dad, He is just a clever and helpful guy. He is always there to lend a gand if someone needs help.

Bobcat

Tonight Carter was presented with his Bobcat. We made the trek to Tooele to see them present him with patch. I am really excited that he is liking Scouts and that his mom is letting him do it. He has half his requirements done to get his wolf too. I forgot my camera, but Sue had hers, so once I get those pictures from her I will put some on here. They did a talent show this month for pack meeting, it was fun and pretty entertaining. Carter did a magic trick, it was very impressive, he did a good job. He also got to give the opening prayer. He is such a great kids. He is so neat sometimes he can really surprise you. I don't think I ever had to pray for anything very serious when I was as young as he is. To have to pray to see which church he should be baptized in is a big deal. And I was very impressed with him and so happy for him for the choice he made.

Crafting

The kids are all taking naps right now. They wore themselves out running around the empty town house while I tried to clean up a little.
Anyway, yesterday my sister in law, Heidi came over yesterday to do a little crafting. She found this web site that had all sort of fun ideas. So yesterdays project was hair bows. They are so cute and were so easy. I can't find any of my crafting stuff because I packed it up. (I am so tempted to start unpacking my stuff so I can live normally again) Anyway, Thank to Heidi we had stuff to use. She brought over some of the cutest watermelon fabric and then she had cute flowers and buttons and this is what we made.

Landlord

Can I just tell you right now that I do not like being a landlord. Irresponsible people cost me too much money. We just had renters move out last Tuesday. So needless to say we have not see Rusty since then. He spent all Wednesday night there ripping up carpet and tile. And then he was working all day til 9:00 pm at his real job. Then he spent all day Friday and Saturday and half the day Sunday after we got home from church working on the townhouse as well. Friday he got to finish ripping up tile and started painting the entire place. Saturday we got to finish painting most of the place and fixed a few lights and now he gets to fix the exhaust fan in the main bathroom. People are pretty gross too. I do not enjoy cleaning up after dirty people. I spent an hour cleaning two toilets on Saturday. Not to mention the two hours I have spent scrubbing the tub. Today the place looks so different than it did a week ago. I actually let my kids out of the car and into the townhouse while I went and tried to clean some more. Yesterday we had the entire top floor and stairs leading up there carpeted. And Sunday and Monday our soon to be brother in law came over and help Rusty lay down a new pergo wood floor on the main level. It looks so good. Tonight we have some people coming to look at the place. It is not all ready to go yet because we still need to put another coat of paint in the kitchen and put the new base boards up. They people seem really nice and hopefully they are clean and take a little pride in the place they live. If that is the case and they like it we might have new tenants, but who knows. I really hope we find someone soon. I really don't want to be making two mortgage payments again in February. Someday we will have our dad back. But my guess it wont be for another 4 days or so.

Blogging part 2

So I think one of the reasons I haven't been the best blogger is because I wondered if this would be something my kids could look back on and read. If it would even be accessible in years to come. I like to have things on paper. I am just old fashioned that way. Well today much to my surprise I just found out about a place that will print your blog into a book. I am so so excited about this. So I might be doing a lot more blogging in the future. Yay!

Blogging

Wow. I am an awful blogger. It has been forever it seems like since I have blogged. I originally started this to try to keep a journal of my family, but it didn't go as well as planned. So this year I have started writing in our journal again. It has gone pretty good for the most part. It just seems more accesible for some reason. But I am sure I will still do blogging from time to time if anyone even cares or even reads it anymore.
The other night I started up scrapbooking again. I have been terrible at that lately as well. Taylor only had her ultra sound pics in her album up until Friday. Now her 1st four days of life are scrapbooked as well. I am trying to make it a goal to scrap one to two layouts each day during my kids nap time. I think that I will be able to catch up that way as long as I can find were I packed all my pictures. I hate living in this house selling state.
